BUSY summer!

Last night was just...one of those nights I never want to forget. When we were getting ready for bed she decided she wanted to brush my hair. Ahhh...it felt so good. I told Barry, "this, right now, is one of the thousands of reasons I wanted a daughter". Then after our prayers and all tucked in, "Mom, I gotta tell you sumpin"...guess she had to get these out before she could sleep...

- Mom, did you ever have chips in a cup? No, I said. She went on to tell me her Campin Nana gave her chips in a cup on the golfcart (she had her first sleepover with Campin Nana a few weeks ago) and that we need to do that sometime. Ok, let's go to sleep, I said.

- Mom, I can't believe Ava lost a tooth! I'm gonna lose a tooth one day when I get bigger. Did Jack lose a tooth? Yes. Did Logan lose a tooth? How 'bout Cruz? Yes, yes. What about CJ? Not yet, but he will about the time you do..Ok, let's go to sleep, I said.

- Mom, you member I wanna be in the Cinderella show, right? Yes, I said...she's told me that before. Cuz I would help Cinderella do her laundry and cleaning so she can go to the ball. Amazing that they can say something so incredibly sweet after having such a "sassy" moment earlier in the day...Oh, and you know the deal - Ok, let's go to sleep, I say...

- Mom, it sure is nice to be together, I want to be together forever. Now, I just can't stand it...maybe I will just lay down and sleep with her...my sweet little angel. I start to rub her head - she liked that when she was so small. Then SHE says, "Mom, you can stop that, let's go to sleep". So I let her fall asleep and I sneak away....

More prayers answered

We were playing with play do, on March 22, and decided to make a birthday cake - candle and all. What a sweet heart.

Well...Papa got his new liver on Mother's Day! What a gift...surgery went great and he's improving every day. He will probably be home by the the 20th!

I love her so much! Where is the time going??? Please someone, tell me how to slow it down. She is so lovey lately..so many hugs, kisses.."I love you momma"..If I have to "get onto her" about something, she says "BUT I LOVE YOU!!"

She is such a trooper - our lives seem so busy and she just goes with the flow...for the most part :)

Hope everyone had a happy new year! Sophie stayed up for the whole thing and had a blast. Lately, it's all about Mary Poppins...she sings "just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down, the medicine go dooowwwn, the medicine go down"....ALL day! What fun! Hope everyone is well...praying for a new liver for Papa real soon!

Merry Christmas!!!

By the time this actually is posted it will be Christmas...what a beautiful day we had playing and enjoying Florida weather. Then we went to Aunt Vicki's (Barry's sister) to meet up with his side of the family for a fabulous dinner, a beautiful song by Jeni and Zara, gift exchange, then to candlelight service. I am so thankful to God for my entire family...love to all and prayers for good health for everyone... Enjoy the video of our precious baby girl that is growing up way too fast.

After a rough start to the school year, we decided it best that mommy stay home more with our girl. I'm so looking forward to more time with her - missed her so much! I plan to substitute teach 1-2 days a week, along with some tutoring jobs...She'll go to daycare 2 days a week...the other 3 days WE PLAY ! !
